Very quickly in September, I received a call out to assist GlobalMedic (a Canadian NGO that assists in disaster relief) with their RescUAV program and their WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) program.

An important point to remember is that if you want to assist in Disaster Relief, join a reputable organization and get proper training.
Don’t be a disaster tourist.
